Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources

Daryn Lewis joined Wave in 2023 as Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources (HR). She is responsible for leading the company’s HR strategy and all aspects of the function, including talent management, people and leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational development and change.

Daryn has nearly twenty years of experience leading organizational growth and transformation in fast-paced, rapidly evolving science, technology, and engineering companies. While at EnerNOC, an energy service and solutions provider, Daryn played an instrumental role in growing the company through IPO to a 1400-employee global organization with operations in ten countries. She launched career coaching and manager development programs for Boston Consulting Group’s Center for Knowledge and Analytics before joining Ironwood Pharmaceuticals in 2017. Daryn then worked on the design and launch of Cyclerion Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company working to discover and develop innovative medicines for people with rare and serious diseases of the central nervous system, which spun off from Ironwood in 2019. At Cyclerion she drove the company’s talent and culture strategy in addition to overseeing all aspects of the human resources function. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President, Head of People & Culture at Faze Medicines, a biotechnology company pioneering therapeutics based on the groundbreaking new science of biomolecular condensates and has served as a fractional and interim HR leader to biotechnology and life sciences companies in varying stages of growth and transformation.
